90-Day Establishment Care Program & Limited Guarantee

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

TurfGuard 90™ is available with the purchase of a minimum of 1,200 square feet of qualifying sod directly from Sod Depot.

Standard program pricing covers up to 5,000 square feet of sod from the original qualifying purchase. Properties exceeding 5,000 square feet may participate at an additional quoted rate.

The TurfGuard 90™ program must be purchased at the time of the qualifying sod purchase or within the eligibility period established by Sod Depot.

Your 90-day establishment program includes:

• Professional turf inspections
• Root-establishment monitoring
• Irrigation and watering evaluation
• Fungus and disease inspections
• Turf insect and pest inspections
• Nutrient and fertilizer evaluation
• Appropriate treatments when included and required
• Mowing and turf-care recommendations
• Identification of stressed or problem areas
• Final 90-day lawn assessment
• TurfGuard 90™ Limited Establishment Guarantee

TURFGUARD 90™ LIMITED ESTABLISHMENT GUARANTEE

Sod Depot stands behind the professional care provided through TurfGuard 90™.

If covered sod fails during the 90-day program because of a turf-health condition that Sod Depot reasonably should have identified or addressed during a scheduled TurfGuard service visit, Sod Depot may provide replacement sod for the affected area, subject to inspection and the terms of this program.

REPLACEMENT COVERAGE

Replacement coverage is limited to a maximum of 30% of the original qualifying sod quantity purchased.

The guarantee covers replacement sod material only.

Removal of existing turf, soil preparation, delivery, installation, irrigation repairs and other labor or materials are not included unless specifically authorized in writing by Sod Depot.

All warranty claims require an inspection and approval by Sod Depot before the affected sod is removed or replaced.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain TurfGuard 90™ coverage, the customer agrees to:

• Maintain a properly functioning irrigation system.
• Follow Sod Depot watering recommendations.
• Follow mowing-height and mowing-frequency recommendations.
• Allow Sod Depot reasonable access for scheduled service and inspections.
• Notify Sod Depot promptly when significant turf problems are observed.
• Follow treatment and care recommendations provided during the program.
• Inform Sod Depot of any fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides or other products applied to the covered turf by the homeowner or another contractor.

CONDITIONS NOT COVERED

TurfGuard 90™ does not cover turf damage or loss caused by:

• Irrigation failure
• Underwatering or overwatering
• Improper mowing
• Drainage or standing-water conditions
• Poor or unsuitable soil conditions
• Excessive shade
• Pet or animal damage
• Vehicle, equipment or excessive foot traffic
• Construction or landscaping activity
• Chemicals applied by the customer or another contractor
• Herbicide or chemical drift
• Failure to follow Sod Depot’s care recommendations
• Conditions outside Sod Depot’s reasonable control
• Severe or abnormal weather, including freeze, drought, flooding, hurricanes or other extreme conditions

90-DAY TERM

Coverage begins on the original sod delivery or pickup date and expires 90 calendar days later.

TurfGuard 90™ is intended to assist with the establishment of newly purchased sod and does not guarantee that turf will remain free from every disease, pest, environmental condition or maintenance-related problem.
